Planned Unit Development
The Village received a request for consideration of a Planned Unit Development (PUD) for specified properties on the northwest corner of Port Washington Road and Brown Deer Road. A PUD is a request to establish zoning and development parameters (including, for example type of uses, density, height, location and other various specific zoning, development, and municipal infrastructure) within a defined geographic area for future development. A PUD does not guarantee something will be constructed, but rather establishes guidelines and limitations on what can be constructed should the necessary approvals be granted by the Village.
The PUD Ordinance and Developer Funded Financing Request were approved by the Board of Trustees.
The developers and architects have presented the Village and the Architectural Review Committee with architectural renderings of "Building C", which would house the North Shore Library.
As further updates become available, they will be published on the Village website.
