The next loose leaf collection week begins November 18. For the other collection weeks, view the 2024 Collection Guide.
A few important reminders to ensure your leaves get collected:
- Place all leaves in one pile per property.
- Leaves should be on the shoulder of the road – not in the ditch and not in the street. This practice is not only for collection purposes but maintains safe roads and keeps stormwater clean!
- Leaf piles should only have tree leaves (or pumpkins). Do not put other yard waste in leaf piles i.e. hostas, grasses, sticks, etc.
- Leaf piles should be at least three feet away from mailboxes, carts, or any other objects to ensure the leaf vacuum can reach all of your pile free of obstruction.
- Leaves should not be bagged or carted for loose leaf collection weeks. They should be bagged or carted all other times.
- Leaves should be out by 7am on Monday.
- Don’t forget – the best fertilizer is already in your yard! Mulch your loose leaves and use them as fertilizer in your yard.
