The Village of Bayside is located in northest Milwaukee County and the southeast section of Ozaukee County along the shores of Lake Michigan. The Village is serviced by major arterial roads such as Interstate 43, State Highway 32 (Brown Deer Road/Lake Drive) and Highway 100 (Brown Deer Road), and Port Washington Road.
On February 13, 1953, Bayside was incorporated as a Village. At the time there was a population of 467, compared to the current population of 4,389. There are a total of 1,831 household and families in Bayside, and the average household size is 2.39 persons. Home values in Bayside average $368,800. Fox Point-Bayside and Maple Dale-Indian Hill School Districts provide Kindergarten through Eighth Grade education to students. Bayside Middle School is located within the Village on Ellsworth Lane. Nicolet High School, located in the City of Glendale, serves as the primary high school. There are several universities, colleges, and technical schools in the area that provide undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, law, medical, and vocational degrees including University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Marquette University, and Milwaukee Area Technical College among others.
